'The Dreams' was a collaboration between British pioneering electronic music genius Delia Derbyshire and British Artist & Playwright Barry Bermange (who recorded the narrations). Originally produced for the BBC's 'Third Programme' in 1964, the Dreams is a collage of people describing their dreams, set to a background of Delia's characteristic eerie electronic sound. The project attempt's to re-create in five movements the sensations of dreaming - running away, falling, landscape, underwater and colour.
