Chronopolis (1983)
Chronopolis is a 1983 French stop-motion animated Science Fiction masterpiece, Directed by Polish animator Piotr Kamler. Chronopolis was Kamler's first and only full length film which took an astonishing five years to complete between 1977 and 1982. The film was funded by a $400,000 grant from the Institut National de l’Audiovisuel of Paris and Centre National du Cinema.
At times terrifying, Chronopolis will appeal to people who liked René Laloux's La Planete Sauvage.
Plot
'Chronopolis tells the story of a gargantuan city lurking in the sky colonized by powerful immortals who have become jaded with eternal life. Most of their time is spent monotonously constructing bizarre and unusual objects while waiting for the ultimate gift to arrive in their hands.'
Here is the film posted in it's entirety.
